Stephen A. Ridley, CTO of IoT security startup Senrio, needed a new website to market Senrio's products more effectively. Senrio had a website, but they felt it was in need of a complete redesign, including new, simplified messaging. Stephen asked me to create a site that:
- Looked modern and unified,
- Could be hosted as a static site,
- but could also easily be edited by non-developers via a CMS.
Throughout the project (but especially at the beginning), I asked lots of questions to get a feel for what kind of "look" they were aiming for and what their needs were regarding editing content, since those seemed to be the two highest priorities for them. I checked in with progress updates often to provide lots of chances/avenues for feedback.
In the end, I received messages from a variety of people at Senrio complimenting the site's "sleek and crispy" design. Stephen was particularly excited that we were able to reap the benefits of both a static, pre-compiled, generated website and a user-friendly CMS.
